The Rev. Dr. Susan Andrews was the first ever woman pastor to be elected Moderator of the 215th General Assembly. She has been married to the Rev. Simmons Gardner for 29 years. Since 1989 she has served as head of staff pastor of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, Bethesda, MD, in National Capital Presbytery. Her father is the Rev. Lewis Andrews.

"Problems with Abraham's Children" by Kikanza Nuri Robins
The Rev. Dr. Kikanza Nuri Robins has been interested in language, culture and learning her entire life. She addresses these interests professionally through her work as an organizational development consultant who is also a PC(USA) minister . Kikanza facilitates groups as they wrestle with and reconcile their conflicts. She coaches managers as they make the internal shift to become leaders and she works as a change agent as people and organization transform themselves from the inside out. Kikanza has been a consultant to the Presbyterian Center for the past year helping the staff to create a healthier church corporation culture using the tools of cultural proficiency. She is an avid designer, a talented textile artist and the author of many articles and three books: Unspoken Visions, Cultural Proficient Leadership, and Culturally Proficient Instruction.
"Multicultural Ministries" by Helen Locklear
Rev. Locklear has been the Associate Director of the Racial Ethnic Ministries Program Area since January 2002. She provides leadership and administrative services to the Racial Ethnic Ministries Program Area in congregational enhancement. The various racial ethnic groups include Asian, Black, Hispanic, Immigrant Groups, Korean, Middle Eastern, Native American, and also includes the office of racial justice initiatives and the anti-racism program. Rev. Locklear is a former associate for the Social Welfare Organization and former Executive Director the Presbyterian Health, Education and Welfare Association (PHEWA).
"Dancing with Prophets" by Salatiel Palomino-Lopez
Dr. Palomino is a native of Mexico City, Mexico. He received his Bachelor's in Theology from the Seminario Teologico Prebiteriano de Mexico, Mexico City. He also earned a BA in Philosophy from Rider University, New Jersey, and his ThM and PhD from Princeton Seminary. He has been the Moderator of the Iglesia Presbiteriana Nacional de Mexico, Professor, Academic Dean and President of the Seminario Teologica Presbiteriano de Mexico, Mexico City. He is currently pastor of El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church, Austin, Texas. He is also the Executive Director of the Union Teologica Hispana, a collaborative project of the Austin Presbyterian Seminary, Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest and the Lutheran Seminary Program of the Southwest. They hope to provide accesible theological education to pastors and lay leaders serving the Hispanic community. Dr. Palomino has also authored numerous books, articles, and educational materials.
"A Pentecost Church for the 21st Century" by Clifton Kirkpatrick
Rev. Kirkpatrick has been the Stated Clerk of the General Assembly, PCUSA since 1996. As the Stated Clerk, Rev Kirkpatrick is the senior continuing officer of the General Assembly charged with communicating the actions of the Assembly, representing that body in a wide variety of settings both within and beyond the church. He also gives overall leadership for the spiritual well-being of the church. As the Chief Executive Office of the Office of the General Assembly, he is responsible for interpreting the Constitution, promoting, the unity of the Church, conducting the annual session of the General Assembly, and preserving the historical record of the denomination.
